11/13/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to host a Carolinas Healthcare Symposium on Living Well with Parkinson’s Disease.  The Department of Neurology-Movement Disorder Clinic at Carolinas Medical Center presented information about diagnosis, treatment options, stress reduction, exercise and nutrition to over 200 patients and caregivers at this free event.

11/7/2012 - For the past two weeks, Harris Conference Center was pleased to host Snyder's-Lance for a series of product review meetings. Upon completion of their meetings, they made a generous product donation to the CPCC Classified Staff Council "Foster a Family" initiative for the holidays. In addition, they partnered with HCC staff to donate more than 400 pounds of products from the meeting to Loaves and Fishes. Thank you Snyder's-Lance!

10/31/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to welcome over 1,000 guests who attend a myriad of events. These included a board meeting, town hall meeting, leadership and corporate training sessions, and a product review meeting with various local businesses and corporations.

10/10/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to host two first-time events for national financial institutions.  Over 1,200 guests passed through the Harris Conference Center while attending a Town Hall Meeting and a United Way Campaign Kick-Off.

10/3/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to host a new business law client, Parker Poe, Attorneys and Counselors at Law.  Their paralegal staff enjoyed a two day seminar which included building bicycles that were donated to A Child’s Place as a team building activity.

9/27/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to host the North Carolina Community College System. Several groups conducted meetings while at the Harris Conference Center including the North Carolina Community Colleges Foundation, the State Board of Community Colleges and the North Carolina Association of Community College Presidents.

8/14/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to host a Global Competitiveness Summit with nearly 150 attendees from business, government and education. The focus was on positioning the Charlotte region as a leader in global commerce.

5/23/2012 - Thank you so very much for all of your help with our society's events held at the Harris Conference Center on Thursday and Friday last week. Your facility is lovely and it was the perfect setting for us. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The meals were all delicious - much tastier than the typical banquet food in hotels. Our conference was a great success and your involvement was critical to that success. I would highly recommend your venue to anyone producing an event in the Charlotte area.

3/21/2012 - Last week, Harris Conference Center was pleased to have a local healthcare organization host their annual meeting for staff members in the Conference Hall. Approximately 700 staff members visited the Harris Conference Center during the two meetings.
